So, I don't have much bad to say about the watch itself, however, I purchased a new device and expected to get a new device. Instead I got a used device.The first picture is what I assume to be somebody's Jelly doughnut or some type of fruit spread (I tasted it and it was something sweetly sour, kind of like a blackberry).The 2nd picture is a picture of the fingerprint I found on the device upon opening it along with some slight scratches on the screen that aren't really noticeable with my camera.The 3rd picture is a picture of me putting the watch on the charger literally seconds before only to find out that it had a 64% charge already, proving my initial thoughts that the watch was in fact a used device. Samsung doesn't ship these things with more than a 1-10% charge (I've never received anything with over 5% but I'm being generous here) EVER.If I had known I was going to get a used device I would have gone to Best Buy where they sell this exact watch for anywhere between $80 and $115 off of retail price for return items but I'm trying to assist with the pandemic by not going out as much.Don't get me wrong, I love this watch save for a few undesirable features or bugs, but I didn't pay for a used item.

Notice: I am a software tech and understand how computer equipment works. Not everyone will have the same experience as me! I had read a lot of reviews about how they couldn't get it to work or connect to ATT. Yes, the Watch3 is fairly new and not everyone at ATT probably knows everything about it. But I hope that my review will help those people because I found that with ATT, a Samsung watch is different than any other smart watch.

I like to try and do things myself rather than call someone to set up things like this watch. So I went to the ATT website and logged into my account. The first thing I was told by ATT when I was investigating the watch was that the watch DOES have it's own phone number. So I knew that I need to click on the link to Add A New Phone Number to my account. The next question was if I was going to purchase the equipment from ATT or bring my own. I selected to Bring My Own.

Now here is where you have to be careful and fully read the instructions. Natural thinking would be to fill in the form that asks for the IMEI number of the watch and the SIM number. Problem is, you don't have a SIM number. If you read the instructions, for a Samsung watch, you need to purchase an eSIM activation number so you have to tell it that you are adding a Wearable and the click the link to get an eSIM Card and add it to your cart. Depending on the specials on that day, you could get it free or pay fees. Once you purchase this card, you will have to wait for it to arrive. Or you can be like me and call customer service and ask for the eSIM number right away.

When I called ATT they saw that I had ordered and paid for the card and so they got the card number and with my IMEI number, they set up their system for the new cell phone number. You will not get an actual phone number because the watch will clone the cell phone number when you connect the two. The agent then texted a photo of the QR code for me to scan into the app when it asked for it. I printed the photo or you can email it to your desktop email to use it from the screen.

Now you should have downloaded the Wearable app from the Samsung Store and started it. The app will turn on the Bluetooth and see the watch and connect it. It will then will ask you to scan the QR code or enter the activation code number. After doing that, I had to go to the menu option Mobile Plans and run the function to NumberSync your watch to the phone. Once you do this, your watch should be connected to the cellular network ONLY when it can not connect to your cell phone via bluetooth or via the same wifi network that they are both on at the same time.

After that, everything worked right away. I had to answer permissions for every app that I started on the watch for the first time and sometime in the phone. It can be annoying but is a necessary evil. Understand that text will work when connect to the phone or not but email you can only read when it is connected to the phone. Same with a few of the health apps and other things. But overall, it has been great. If you have Samsung Pay on your phone, it will sync with the one on your watch.

There are practically a thousand different watchfaces that your can get or purchase in the store for cheap. I found that the ones that you purchase work better and have more configuration than the free ones. There are Navigation apps and even Radar maps for the weather that work great.

I even downloaded an app called Nearby Places that will tell me what businesses or government offices are near me. Just tap, select the category you are looking for and then search. Once you find what you want, double-tap and a map with the route will show up with options to get directions as well.

For the most part, I can leave my phone at home for most of what I need to do if I don't need to worry about getting emails. But the biggest reason for purchasing this watch was because it has an SOS option where if I fall or if I click three times on the home button, it will text my neighbors and family as well as call 911 so that I can ask for emergency services. I have tested it with my son and hope to test it with 911 soon... once I know that the odds are accidentally triggering a false alarm is minimal.

I have a iPhone and a Apple smart watch , not a fan of the square screen , I got this watch and I really like it , every works , except I can't text back or answer calls from this watch , I don't really care bout that. , this watch does what I need

I bought this as used , but it appears to have been brand new and never used. I always thought these smart watches were silly but boy was I wrong! I had a fitness watch that was cheep and really was worthless and I didn't trust who I had to havebit synced up too. So spent extra for a samsung and it has been perfect. I get the alerts I want, can respond to text messages, alarms, timers and weather. Pay the extra and get one of these and you will not be disappointed.

I have Verizon. On 5 September, Verizon representative tried telling me my imei number was not compatible.

I instead connected the watch to my phone having decided tk see if it would just work. Durring setup, it asked if I wanted to add mobile service. I selected yes. The phone app connected to my verizon account and permitted me to select the smartwatch I was replacing. Everything worked and now my watch works.

I did buy it here on Amazon.

I wanted to add this review for those considering purchase. You dont HAVE to buy from Verizon (although setup will be easier that way.) You MAY have to take a trip to the 37th ring of hell (as I saw another reviewer describe it) but an LTE watch from Amazon SHOULD work and I can verify the automated way of connecting service is functioning since it just workrd for me.
If nothing else, at least Amazon is pretty easy to return to if you get the runaround.

(I gave it 4 stars as my gripe is I hate the included watch band and lack of wall plug in the box. Almost 500 dollars and you cant let me choose my watch bad or at least include a wall plug? Elsewise, love it but Im probably biased. I have had samsung products for a while.)

I just bought the Samsung Watch3, Amazon delivered it the next day, and I had it completely set up within an hour or so. Great watch. My wife and I have identical Samsung cell phones (Note4) and tablets (S5e) and have been very happy with them. So the watch was the next step. We bought the LTE unlocked version to add to our Verizon plan. Adding this watch to our plan (for an additional $10/month) was very easy on the Verizon web site with the IMEI. I have seen a few reviews saying they were not able to add their watch to their Verizon plan and were told they would have to but the watch from Verizon (for higher price than Amazon). Not true—we set it up just fine. We are about to purchase our second Watch3 but my wife is trying to decide if she wants the 41mm smaller size or the 45mm size I have. Other than that, everything is as it should be, works well, an amazing collection of features. We still don’t understand why some folks think the Apple watch at twice the price and half the battery life is a better choice.

Let me start off by saying this watch feels and works EXCELLENTLY. The battery lasts through my sleep (I don't keep my watch face always-on, who in their right mind does that), tracks said sleep well enough, and syncs with my OnePlus 8 just fine. Heart rate and ECG work well, blood-oxygen works (I think), and the stress measurement/management is SUPER helpful. I've yet to activate LTE, but I'm hearing it doesn't work with Verizon, so make sure you're aware of that before pulling the trigger.

..wait, hang on. I have a OnePlus 8, and yet here I am using the ECG! Aren't the ECG and blood pressure features are exclusive to Galaxy?! Yes...with a massive asterisk. If you have a Windows PC and are willing to put in some work, you CAN activate the ECG function on non-Galaxy phones. It's wonky to set up, and might result in you pulling your hair out, but if you can do it...it works as well as it does on a Galaxy!

So yeah. Four stars because of a stupid paywall Samsung introduced, why is that necessary, but other than that? Easy five stars. It's a home run in almost every category!

There was no mention of US version till I received receipt after purchase. LTE doesn't work in Canada. When I requested return, seller categorized the reason as buyers fault which then justifies a return fee to be charged. I asked questions about that and received no response. So frustrated that I kept watch hoping to sort out issues...EKG still not approved...seriously? Why is this watch being sold on Amazon.ca? This was a ridiculous situation for a watch sold on Amazon.ca to a Canadian client. Buyer beware lessons learned.

Super contento con el reloj, aunque no tenga 100% de las funciones disponibles es un excelente reloj, super cómodo y más ligero y pequeño que su antecesor el watch de 46mm, pero con una pantalla un poco más grande. Sin lugar a duda lo volvería a comprar.

Más estético que sus predecesores, aún no es totalmente delgado pero al portarlo no se nota, envidia bastante la autonomía del Galaxy Watch de 46 mm que en uso llego a darme hasta 4 días sin carga, sin embargo esta es la versión LTE con un gasto de energía más extenuante que el anterior. La pantalla luce muy bien, buen sonido y vibración. Si tienes un samsung todo fluirá perfecto. La autonomía me ha dado hasta 3 días, sin embargo usándolo como celular se reduce a casi 2 o 2 días de uso. La potencia del BT hace que algunos audífonos no funcionen tan perfecto (sonido bajo) Y pese a algunas opiniones de que es muy fácil de rayar o despostillar, la realidad es que varias veces lo he accidentado y en ninguna hay huella permanente aún. Se puede cargar con la carga reversible y con varias baterías portátiles con "qi"

No dudo que sea bueno, aunque al ser usuario del Active 2, cuando ves este ya no te va a gustar, y el extensible que trae de supuesta piel se ve horrible, corriente y eso le quita calidad. Creo que no vale lo que vale y puedes tener acceso a lo mismo con el Active 2 y la verdad se ve mucho mejor y no es tan grande de tamaño porque la pantalla es la misma.

Un reloj muy muy completo y resistente,
yo compre la mica protectora la cual debería ser un "must" junto con el reloj.
Ahora con la pandemia el medidor de oxigenación "Oxímetro" y "ECG" da muy buena información y comparado con un aparato profesional tiene poca variante de información .
La batería usándolo con la pantalla activada todo el día y al dormir activar modo noche, dura día y medio.
Modo ahorro toda la semana.
Los extensibles de los samsung Frontier y modelo anterior si le quedan.
