Hello Spice Heads, I have a strange and unusual situation with Outlook today. I am preparing to give a user a new desktop computer and in the process of setting everything up on the new machine. This is a Windows 10 Pro box, and the version of Office we use is 2019 Office 365 (Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise) We have our own on-premise Exchange 2013 server and not using Exchange Online. When I attempt to open Outlook, I
get a message: "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window.The set of folders cannot be opened. The attempt to log on to Microsoft Exchange has failed." Now, I've googled this extensively and have come up with several solutions that still won't fix my problem 1. Start Outlook in Safe Mode - Still won't open I've already setup other user's new computers and didn't have this problem. I'm stuck! Any suggestions please? Microsoft Outlook is a perfect app for sending and receiving emails and managing other personal data. But sometimes Outlook doesn’t open and gives the “Cannot start Microsoft Outlook…” error message. It may seem daunting, but there’s no need to panic. You can easily fix this from your home by using the methods in this article.

Fixes for Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook ErrorDepending on the cause of the error, there are several possible solutions. First, restart your computer and check if the error persists.
