I like all types of music, and instantly loved that album. I listened to more of their songs, as well as solo albums from Angelo and Paddy (Michael Patrick). This new album brings it all back and sounds amazing! Love how they cover some classics and include new as well. Highly recommend this! I met them in 1999 when I went to Europe and attended at least 5 of their concerts from 1999-2001. They have always been an inspiration to me and my 7 kids, since we lost their dad just like the Kelly's lost their mom. If the Kellys are reading this, I want them to know that over the years we have laughed and cried with you. But always, we return to your heartfelt music for comfort. They are the best Iam a fan sice iam 12 years old. Now iam almost 44 and their music still touches me. There is nothing in this world to compare this musik with. In den Jahren als es um die Kellys Ruhiger wurde und sie alle ihre eigenen Wege ging, wurde auch meine Liebe ruhiger. Starb aber nie aus. Nun sind sie und meine Liebe wieder da. Auch wenn drei Kellys fehlen, mir gefallen deren neue Energie und deren Umsetzungen. Auf We Got Love sind neue, wie auch alte Klassiker, neu arrangiert drauf. Wie z.B. der Kelly Hit schlecht hin "An Angel", dieser sogar in zwei Versionen. Die eine, praktisch auf alle sechs mitwirkenden Kellys verteilt und einmal mit Angelo und seiner mittleren Tochter Emma. Beide Versionen auf ihre Art ein Traum. Mir gefällt ehrlich gesagt, dass jetzt die Aufteilung viel gerechter ist. Nicht wie früher, wo leider, und so war es wirklich, seien wir doch mal ehrlich, fast alle Platten sehr Paddy Lastig waren, sind viele Songs auf alle Kellys gerecht aufgeteilt und jeder hat eine gerechte Anzahl an Solo Songs. Meine persönlichen Favoriten sind „Stand by me“ von Ben E. King, den ich vorher noch nie von den Kellys gehört habe, nicht einmal zu Street Life Zeiten, wo sie ja noch viel Gecovert hatten. Und die zwei Gänsehaut Songs „Brothers and Sisters“ und „Miracles“. Anfang wollte ich diese CD erst nicht kaufen, weil ich sehr skeptisch war, dass die Songs von damals heute neu aufgelegt gut klingen könnten. Der Rest ist einfach schön gemacht. Brother und Sisters gefällt mir auch sehr. Ich kann nur jeden Kelly Fan diesen Kauf empfehlen. |
