I just build a computer for gaming and installed windows. No internet networks are showing up. I troubleshoot in the network status tab and it says “intel(R) 82567LF gigabit network connection adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware related problems” I then go to device manager then to the network adapter I click update driver then browse my computer for driver software then let me pick from list - then I click on the model it is showing and I get a code 31 “device is not working properly because windows cannot load the drivers required for this device”. And I can’t download the driver from the manufacturers website because I can’t access the internet. I have tried every YouTube tutorial fix for the issue and tried the Microsoft forum fix for code 31 to no avail.

  1. When I booted my system my network connection was shut off. When I selected troubleshoot it said "Intelrl211 gigabit network connection adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related problems." My computer was really loud, like the cpu fan was spinning at max rpm while this was happening. I powered off and on my computer and I still got the issue. I powered it off and on again and now I don't have the issue as of the typing of this question. I don't know if this problem will appear again but in case it does I am asking what is causing this problem and how to fix it?

    :)

    Hi Nell,

For you to be able to perform the troubleshooting steps above, we suggest connecting your computer via a wired connection.

However, if the wired connection is not available, we suggest using other device in manually downloading the driver from your manufacturer's site and transfer them via USB Flash drive.
