What is the major disadvantage to using a speaker phone in a medical office?

The phones may interfere with other electronic equipment in the office.

What is the difference between an answering service and an answering machine multiple choice question?

What is an effective way to log phone calls in the medical office?

Record notes as you converse. Have the caller state his name. Address the caller by name during the conversation. Many calls will be patients needing to make appointments, but some will require medical advice from a nurse or doctor.
