I bought a new video game and when ever i try to install it a box pops up that says "another instance of setup is already running" i have tryed turning my computer off and on again but that does not work and i cant seem to fix it i could relay need some help.

1) Log off using start, turn off machine. ( the unplug method leaves all old settings so they can return )

Use the Task Manager and delete all  setup applications.  Reach Task Manager by pointing to open space on the task bar at the bottom of the screen, right click and choose Task manager.

You might have closed your installation session before it was finished installing, and then accidentally started a second installation....Look in Task Manager (right-click the Taskbar and select "task manager") in the Processes tab and see if you can locate the "set up" for your game and right click on it to END it. Then try the installation again.

edit: if you don't see it in Processes TAB, look in the Application TAB and kill it!
