We absolutely enjoyed every part of our stay, the staff were super friendly and helpful from reception/concierge to Neni (breakfast and dinner). Jan in particular was fantastic, our daily go to person, with his wealth of local knowledge on the hotel, places to visit food, bars etc A Jungle room is well worth the extra cost with its full height windows, overlooking the enclosures and close enough to see and hear the animals. The decor was cool (maybe needed a little painting in places) but that didn't matter, super clean, very comfy beds, all in all very happy. Bar was excellent, DJ at weekends we enjoyed and skipping the long queue outside was perfect. Ate in Neni and despite being fully booked they happily fitted us in as hotel guests. Breakfast was amazing and well worth the price, it was a relaxing start to the day in good surroundings, with a terrace to sit outside after breakfast with a delicious coffee, I would recommend not missing this. Location was excellent and so easy to get around with U Barn and Mainline on the doorstep. We will definitely be back.

Berliner Hof is perfectly located for both business and leisure guests in Berlin. Offering a variety of facilities and services, the hotel provides all you need for a good night's sleep. Free Wi-Fi in all rooms, daily housekeeping, ticket service, 24-hour front desk, luggage storage are on the list of things guests can enjoy. Television LCD/plasma screen, internet access – wireless (complimentary), non smoking rooms, heating, desk can be found in selected guestrooms. The hotel's peaceful atmosphere extends to its recreational facilities which include fitness center. Friendly staff, great facilities and close proximity to all that Berlin has to offer are three great reasons you should stay at Berliner Hof.

The location of the hotel is very easy to find. Nearby is the pedestrian mall of shopping malls. There are dm stores and other things. The luxury goods in shopping malls are more expensive than those in the United States and other places. I just bought some German-made daily necessities for my family. It was discovered that it was made in China. I ordered something for dinner at the hotel restaurant. The salmon rice was delicious. The taste of other sausages was more salty and I did n’t like it. I traveled to Berlin for a business trip and took a taxi to the airport for about twenty euros. Most of the taxis were Mercedes-Benz cars.

I have stayed at the ”Air in Berlin” in the second weekend in December. The location is perfect: just a couple of steps to famous Gedächtniskirche and the beautiful christmas market there. Ku'damm and KaDeWe just around the corner. Easy to reach only 2 stops from Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten. Hop on bus stop around the corner at KaDeWe. The hotel is an old building with high ceilings and old fashioned doors. The rooms are clean and small (some have a funny layout with a bathroom squeezed in the middle), some are loud due to the street. The manager and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good but when the hotel is completely booked some of the guests need to carry their food to a dining room upstairs. Not recommended for people that are handicapped. The price is ok and we were completely happy with choosing ”Air in Berlin” !

The location of this hotel is good. There are two Chinese restaurants nearby. Go right and turn left. The first owner of the restaurant called Green Restaurant is more enthusiastic. The front one seems to be Cantonese. KADEWE Shopping The mall is about 10 minutes walk away; it needs to be emphasized: the hotel room is small, Wifi can only connect one device at a time, the speed is normal, the room just entered the moldy smell, originally wanted to change the room, the next day tastes slightly Better; convenient transportation, a few hundred meters in the vicinity is U BUS station or 100/200 station; next time it is estimated that this hotel will not live, because of the taste of the room, wifi, and cost. If there is no special requirement for taste and WiFi, this location hotel is worth considering.

So the Upper rooms hotel in Berlin was booked back at the beginning of the year for a trip that was supposed to take place in May of 2020. In the event, the world went into Covid lockdown, which meant that we had to postpone our trip and it finally took place over the weekend of the 11th to the 14th of September. Our trip via London City Airport to Berlin Tegel was without incident and everybody followed the rules. In short, we felt safe and enjoyed the trip. Arriving at Tegel, we caught a bus, which took half an hour to reach our stop, not bad we thought. We located the hotel, and entered through its tall poorly kempt wooden doors, to be faced with a steep set of stairs, edged in black sticky tape, which led to another flight of stairs or a poorly lit corridor to a dubious but thankfully functional four person lift. We chose floor four as this button was marked up as reception. On exiting the lift, we were faced with another set of stairs and a left turn which emerged into a screened reception, manned by a young lady with very long green fingernails. We checked in and paid the extra Euro 75 incurred when we changed our booked dates. We were given our room key, which thankfully was on the same floor as the reception. Our room had two beds, a double and a single. The windows, at least 12 foot tall did thankfully open and looked out onto a quadrangle. That was the view, but it was quiet. The room was clean although the carpet was age stained and worn. There was adequate space to store our luggage for the weekend. The bathroom was adequate, a good shower cubicle, a sink and a toilet which was a bit cramped for a large bloke like me to sit on. My knees touched the wall. Only a little thing but with a bit of thought something easily rectified. The TV, had one English language free for view channel and that was Al Jazeera news and it only worked on on night one. There was a kettle, three cups, three saucers, three Green tea bags, three sugar sticks and three plastic stirrers on the hospitality tray. That was that. No tea, coffee sachets, biscuits or milk portions. Our friends staying in another room had the same, so not an oversight. But we were here for the weekend so we put tea, coffee and milk on the shopping list and went out to dinner. The following morning having had a decent nights sleep we reported for breakfast and having given the Breakfast room cook our room number, were told that we would have to go to reception. We did so only to be told that we had not booked or paid for breakfast and would have to pay Euros 10 per person extra per day. I coughed up for that morning . When I book a hotel I always book for breakfast. The rest of our trip went well, we never ate in the hotel again finding a local establishment that gave a better choice for about the same amount of money and only one hundred metres away from the hotel. A word about costs and attitudes. When we initially booked the hotel at the beginning of the year

Location is awesome. It's almost like living in a park atmosphere. Lots of walking trails nearby, close to downtown and most of the major tourist attractions, but still in a quiet area. Public transit is readily available (bus stop right across the street, and several trams within short walking distance). Front desk staff were incredible throughout our 5-day stay there -- from check-in to check out. As we were in Germany to assist a family member, ours was more like a working holiday than a relaxing one and although our personal circumstances were seemingly constantly in flux, the staff were EXTREMELY courteous and helpful in adapting our reservations several times. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. There is a nice beer garden in the back where you can get an early start on ”the German experience”, but don't worry about all-night partying or rowdiness...it closes around 9:00 p.m. so, even though we had a room right above it, the noise was never an issue. Rooms are well-soundproofed so getting a good night's sleep was never a problem either. I would give this place more stars if possible, primary due to the outstanding staff and service provided during our stay. This will definitely be our ”go-to” place whenever we are in Berlin.

When we visited this hotel, it was just opened. Everything was therefore brand-new. Fine rooms with good beds, friendly staff at the reception and a very good breakfast for not even € 12,- Besides, the hotel is only 200 metres from station Gesundbrunnen from which you can reach the whole city with all kinds of public transport. You can also, paid, park well below or next to the hotel. If I have to mention a point of attention: the duvets are a little too small to the width of the bed.

The location is good, it is very convenient to go to various attractions, and you can walk or take public transportation. Shopping around is very convenient. Reception front desk and doorman service are very good and very polite. The hotel's decoration style is more ancient, and it doesn't matter if it is different from person to person. It is difficult to comment. What the individual doesn't like is the breakfast mode provided by the hotel. The buffet style on the table is only a small variety of bread, butter, cheese, sliced meat, a little fruit, a little juice and so on. Any omelet or egg, or sausage, or hot vegetables, must be ordered in a variety of language menus provided by a single door. Although the speed of serving after ordering is OK, the taste is average and even disappointing. The taste of the drink is average. The overall feeling of the hotel's breakfast quality is not worth the price it sells. In particular, if you are accustomed to eating a self-service rich breakfast, you may not be able to adapt to this breakfast mode.

The location of the hotel is very good, with a subway/tram station next to it, and convenient transportation. There are many shopping shops nearby, and it is not far from the Haak Market. It is very convenient to eat, drink and play. The room is large, there is a hidden induction cooker, and there are kitchen utensils in the cabinet, which is very suitable for friends who want to cook for themselves. I really like the washing and care products in the room. The soap is black, which is very special.

Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning. It's wonderful here. We always tend to stay here when in Berlin as the location is perfect for the gay area. Hotel staff are very friendly & accommodating. Room was warm & comfy but some of the furnishings are looking a little outdated now. Cleaner didn’t automatically come every day which was disappointing - no doubt another ridiculous Covid19 rule. The fridges with minibar seem to have been removed from the room which is a little annoying - shall we blame covid19 for that too?! The hotel also expects you to wear face masks which is a bit unnecessary as you can walk round any bar, restaurant, or shopping centre now without the need for a mask. I don’t blame the staff In the hotel for this rule but the company needs to get a grip & realise that most travellers are fully vaccinated now. How else could we have got to Germany in the first place? Having said that, we would stay here again as overall the facilities & location are good.

The twin room of this hotel is equipped with three beds. This situation is rare in China and is more suitable for family and children. The second is that the area that needs improvement is a pot that does not have hot water. But the front desk helped me burn a cup, thank you!

I have seen many hotels in Berlin and this one is by far the cleanest/most hygenic one! Especially now during Corona times, they literally send their cleaning team to sanitize door handles etc. every hour and they have a full no-contact check-in and check-out system that works by a telephone service that is always there for you. The cozy rooms and excellent location at Rosethaler Platz makes the stay just perfect. A secret tip: ask for one of their ”signature rooms”, created by local Berlin artists (no additional costs charged). Definitely a recommendation for everyone!

Dormitory for 4 people Shower toilet Ensuite. There is a mini locker. There is a locker that can be locked under the bed. Wifi is connected even in the room. The room and the toilet are beautiful. There is also a light outlet and storage at the bedside. If it's hot, fans can borrow a deposit of 20 euros at the front desk. There is a washing machine in the basement. 3 euros for washing dryer 3 euros. Cospa is wonderful in Berlin where the accommodation fee is high.

Stayed in a Junior Suite. Room was large and extremely clean. Two large doors to let lots of air in. Only thing that disappointed me was it says its a room with a balcony however there is no actual outside space, the doors open and there is a bar directly at the doors and only one chair in the room so no way for us both to sit there. Bed was so comfortable and great pillows! The blue nightlight option was beautiful. Bathroom was fab! Shower was amazing, didn't want to get out!! Floor in the bathroom is heated. Wi-fi is decent but keeps signing you out so don't lose the piece of paper with your codes on it. Cleaners were fantastic, changed our towels & bed daily and fresh glasses & cups. Ate one night in the restaurant on the rooftop and the food was beautiful. Then sat on the rooftop lounge outside with a drink and the view and lights were beautiful. Location is great... Two underground stations both within a 2 minute walk. I would recommend to get a welcome card if travelling a lot as it covers underground, trains and busses. We would have spent 3 times the amount we paid for the 4 day card and also covers from airport if you buy zones a,b&c Staff were very friendly throughout our stay. Would have given 5 stars if I had of known in advance there was no actual balcony but was one of the main reasons I booked as my partner doesn't drink and our plan was to sit out there at night where I could enjoy a few glasses and he doesn't have to be in a bar. But overall had a lovely stay. My pictures don't do the room justice but just to give an idea.

The room booked did not include breakfast, but there was a buffet on the first floor, 12 euros for one person. To experience the local breakfast in Berlin, we chose to go out and have breakfast in the bakery. The hotel helps to make a reservation for a taxi and needs to pay for the service. A great hotel in a central location. The breakfast was great, although the atmosphere was pretty noisy taking into account the huge number of people staying at the hotel. The only disadvantage is that for parking I was not able simply to drive into the parking garage, although it says that no prior reservation is needed, so I suppose I had to call the hotel in advance and tell them I'm coming with a car. So I would advise Ctrip to update this part of the information. Nevertheless, if you want to pay 10€ instead of the 22€ a day for parking in the hotel's parking garage, you can consider the parking area at Gleisdreieck, which is around 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.

I wrote a review at the airport yesterday giving the Das Stue 5 stars for an amazing stay I have removed it today and am writing this one instead When I came to pay my bill on Tuesday night prior to checking out on Wednesday I commented to the young duty manager behind the desk (who was pretty dismissive and rude at the time) that I was surprised they had earmarked so much money over the 4 night stay They had earmarked a total of £5500 which was more than the total rate - I accept they then add on money for guests spend (turned out this is an additional 100 euros per guest per night which is more than Ive experienced anywhere else in the world) The manager was quite rude and said - dont worry about it, we will use this earmarked money to settle the bill The final bill was £4600 I get home and get a call from my bank to tell me I am hugely overdrawn in my chequing account When we look into it - the hotel charged me the full amount as a new debit - they did not use the earmarked funds (which my bank had already approved), howver, they then they had not cancelled the earmarked payment. This means my bank has paid out £4600 and allocated another £5500 = OVER ELEVEN THOUSAND IN TOTAL I called the hotel who said they will get their credit card payment company Concardis to cancel the earmarked amount - they have done this, but it will now take up to 7 days for my bank to clear this off. WHY IF THE EARMARKED FUNDS HAD BEEN APPROVED DID THE HOTEL NOT USE THIS AS THEY SAID THEY WOULD?? I am now having to transfer money to cover my other commitments until this is sorted out. The hotel seem to be suggesting its my banks fault - it is not becuse they approved the earmarked funds, the hotel manager said that is what they would use and then they took another full payment I AM REALLY REALLY ANNOYED There is little point offering such a relaxed and charming stay and then ruin it with this appalling experience - I suggest you avoid or pay in advance (which I offered) or use a Credit card (which I dont generally use) OR stay somewhere else where they do pre-authorise such huge amounts

The soundproofing is too bad, the movements in the hallway are clear and clear, and the walls of other rooms will be vibrated. I was scared at night. The mattress didn't seem to breathe, and it was very hot to sleep on, and didn't sleep well at night. Air conditioning is either too cold or too hot to master. We spent 3 days at Gorki last week, slightly early Valentine’s trip. We love it as it’s just easy here, spacious apartment, clean, modern, great location and in one of the best cities in world! We cooked one day and ate out the rest of the time. With so many bars and restaurants within walking distance, you are spoilt for choice! Regarding the review below, not sure what that’s about, we’ve never had any issues, hence our third visit and not our last. Also, we just loaded the dishwasher ourself, we didn’t need the room attendant to do it! Love the personal service too, when we booked our visit, Constance messaged me the list of rooms to choose from, from the category we had booked. This was great as each apartment is different, no 2 are exactly the same. We are working our away across the different categories :) We asked for a late check out and were told it was €50, we declined that, but we were able to stay in the room until 1pm. We’ll be back in the summer, see you then!

Before I comment the hotel, I would really like to mention the Receptionist Mo!! He was at the check in when I got there, and immediately saw his positive energy and vibe and at the same time professionalism, which is very important as it’s the first impression when you step in the hotel. He also speaks couple of foreign languages such as Russian, English, Italian, German... I am working as a GM of Korcula Hill Resort in Croatia, and I have to say that every hotel should have at least one Mo!!! Very smart and polite guy, and really hope he will be soon upgraded to a higher position in the company as I’m sure he’s capable of managing more complexed stuff, situations and business decisions. Amazing guy!! Also, another young receptionist Ane, I loved talking to her on Spanish and we laughed a lot during my stay. Very cool persona and her English, is just brilliant with nice accent! As A Moxy lover, I have to say that this Hotel, again, was very modern, cool, funky, colors and decoration everywhere, the Vespa at the entrance... Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the view not bad at all. Water pressure in the shower was perfect! Breakfast was good too. The location is great, only 300m to the S Bahn/U Bahn lines, very good connection with the city and Tegel Airport. I believe the Gym is great as well, it must be a stunning view at the area around the hotel... If you want a 5 star service and you don’t want to pay the fortune for it, book immediately this hotel!

We stayed at this hotel because it was very accessible to all points in the city. We chose to say in the Privilege rooms. It was very large, and had a sitting room as well the bedroom. We did book our room rate with the breakfast to be included. The breakfast was adequate, but not quite up to those at the other hotels we had chosen for this trip. The location of the hotel is near two U-bahn stations so getting around from there is excellent. The staff was exceptional, especially two young ladies at the front desk – Alicia Crespo and Helena Wicke. On our last day, we needed to have the COVID Antigen tests before flying back to the US, and with their assistance they found one a few minutes away that we could walk to it. This hotel proved to be a good value for Berlin.

Great location, good breakfest. The only problem is that there was not any warm dish during breakfest (like scrumbling eggs or simplu sussages). The staff is very helpful and ther was no problem with check-in even when I came at 13.00. And the free late check out on Sunday (for loyality program members) is the great option after Saturday clubbing. I really recomand this hotel.

Overall, this hotel is still more suitable for business travel, because the location is closer to the Brandenburg Gate, originally chose this hotel, the hotel is very good, the service attitude is very friendly, especially for children. Free breakfast for the children, and the breakfast is very rich, there is a paid parking lot, and the Bodhi Tree Down Street is only over 100 meters. It is also very convenient to go to the Brandenburg Gate. Overall, the room is also very large, the bed is The king size bed is very convenient, with a child of seven or eight years old without any problems.
